Vacuum forming plastic

Many plastic products are vacuum formed and we are able to manufacture tooling for the process. This vaccuum forming was to produce conveyor belt covers from pinseal ABS plastic. The covers were designed by GiCAM according to customer specification after which the tooling was also designed. Two covers may be cut from each moulding to reduce unit cost.

CNC machining plastic

We also directly CNC machine a wide variety of plastics such as acrylic/perspex and Delrin. This acrylic tube for liquid experiments was manufactured by solvent welding machined flanges to an extruded tube. The capped ends could be bolted on and off and included tapped threads to attach pipe fittings.
